Check out the professional training curriculum for the Baby Functional Movement Trainer title

The exclusive Baby Functional Movement practitioner training consist of 16 sessions all divided into 2 hours long trainings twice a week over the course of 2 months. This gives you 32 hours of in - depth lessons + additional online work and assignments that have to be completed by the end of the course.

All the professional education, in depth learning, teaching and guidance will be delivered directly from Saška H.Kuhar - Author of the Baby Functional Movement program.

Before you follow the curriculum below, let's have a look into what program Baby Functional offers and how does it work?

Baby Functional movement program and its method:

✔ Works to prevent potential developmental delays

✔ Teaches you how to encourage babies to be physically active from birth

✔ Teaches you about the importance of postural control

✔ Deepens the knowledge about symmetry of the infant’s body

✔ Deepens the knowledge about balance training which can accelerate the development of postural control

✔ Teaches you how to stimulate motor skill development (as perceptual motor development in infancy is the foundation of all mental life)

✔ Will teach you how the processes by which babies learn to control and coordinate their bodies set the stage for all the further development

✔ Will dig deeper into understanding functional movements within the body from birth and how the knowledge of the anatomy of the babies can play crucial part in the development

✔ Will provide you with more detailed body systems and teach you some useful terms for the describing baby's body structure

✔ Will teach you to understand the content of the planes of the body, body cavities and directional terms

✔ Will deepen the knowledge in the field of skeletal and muscular system which are holding the major role in the development of the baby. We will deepen the knowledge in the field and teach you how those two working together produce body movement.

✔ Through the program you will deepend the knowledge in the field of bone development and growth and learn about the importance of respiratory system, digest system, cardio-vascular system and nervous system

✔ Teaches you how the diaphragmatic breathing is crucial for the optimal use of muscle through the program

✔ You will get deeper insight into the symptomatic issues in newborns and babies (such as hypotonia, hypertonia, torticollis, etc.)

✔ Guides you through fundamental tips every parent with the baby should know in regards to optimize the baby development within the first year

✔ Will teach you about the importance of functional movements from birth and how does those movements influence other areas of the development

✔ You will get the deeper insight of baby functional handling and how the understanding between the passive and active carrying positions can affect the development

✔ Will provide you with over 100 different positions (motor activities) with which you are heading towards the optimal development

✔ Will help you understand infant development from a whole new perspective (from basic sleeping positions, what are the appropriate positions and techniques when it comes to feeding, colic, burping, etc.)

✔ Will teach you to understand what are the appropriate movement positions for each individual baby based on their recognized abilities to learn and current needs.

✔ Teaches you why tummy time might not suite all the babies and how to avoid this issue successfully

✔ And many more.
