THE FIRST STAGE of the Baby Functional Movement programme is getting to know and learning about your baby's motor and cognitive skills through basic grips and relaxation as well as stretching exercises (intended for babies under 3 months of age):
✔ Time on the tummy
✔ Playing on the hip
✔ Tilting on the tummy over a big ball
✔ Pulling from supine to sitting position
✔ Reaching out and tracking a toy.
THE SECOND STAGE of the Baby Functional Movement programme is designed to strengthen the body through exercises that promote balance. This is a period of upgrading the first-stage exercises (intended for babies between 3 and 6 months of age):
✔ Tilting on the ball in a sitting position
✔ Reaching out for a toy on the tummy
✔ Rolling from back to tummy
✔ Sitting additionally supported by the hips.
